The day of the trial is not the time to be scouring Pinterest for hair and makeup ideas. Make sure to come prepared with inspirational photos of hair and makeup styles that you like.
It is also important to come with a variety of different styles. While your stylist may be excellent at what they do, your hair type may dictate what styles will work best for you so having a variety to choose from will help ensure that you aren’t disappointed.
With this in mind, when you are looking for inspirational photos, try to keep in mind your hair type, length, and color as well as your face shape, and stick with photos of hair and makeup styles that are similar in nature.

While your wedding day is not the time to try an entirely new look head to toe, it may be the perfect time to try a little something new. Maybe you have never worn false lashes or hair extensions. Give them a try.
It’s simple changes like these that can elevate your look without taking you too far outside of your comfort zone.
Worst case, if you don’t like it, you will now have the peace of mind of knowing that you gave it a try and you aren’t missing out on anything.

DON'T BE AFRAID TO SPEAK UP
No one ever wants to hurt anyone else’s feelings but a professional wedding stylist should not take it personally if you aren’t 100% happy with something.
Your wedding day is way too important to not look and feel your absolute best.
Even if you are someone who is on the more timid side, take a deep breath and speak your mind if you are uncomfortable or unhappy with anything.
